A warm welcome to the University of Energy and Natural Resources — the University of Technologians. As a promising, fast growing hub of higher learning, UENR has made remarkable strides in the past seven years. Having modestly commenced in August 2012 with 154 students across two Schools — School of Engineering and School of Natural Resources — UENR currently trains over 6,000 students in our seven Schools, which offer diverse tailored, cutting-edge, multidisciplinary postgraduate and undergraduate programmes such as Sciences, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Engineering.
Established as a full-fledged university, UENR has the core mandate to provide higher education, disseminate knowledge and undertake energy-and-natural resources-related research. Our competent staff, with world-class skills, experiences and training from reputable academic and professional institutions the world over, zero in their efforts in training and nurturing our students to be fully baked, innovative and critical thinking workforce to transform the contemporary world of work with their top-of-the-line intellectual capabilities. Since we put emphasis on training not only the mind, but also the heart and hands, our graduates are skilled as well as intellectually and morally sound. In the-not-too-distant-future, we aspire to be named among the best internationally recognised universities in the areas of Energy and Natural Resources.
