Welcome to the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and Extension

The Department offers both undergraduate and post graduate market driven programmes in Agribusiness Management. The programmes are B.Sc. Agribusiness, MBA Agribusiness Management and MPhil Agribusiness Management. The main aim of the Department is to train students who wish to undertake managerial-level, agripreneurship, research, agricultural planning, policy, trade, teaching and consultancy careers in food production, processing, agricultural output and input marketing, agricultural finance, supply chain, food and agribusiness allied sectors. The Department has well motivated, dynamic and young but experienced and dedicated lecturers who provide excellent theoretical and practical content of courses in agribusiness, applied economics and community development.
